If every pixel is the deliverable, we are not selling you the design.
A studio whose client is paying specifically for art direction is not in the market for generated designs, and pretending otherwise would waste your afternoon. What may be worth it is the layer underneath: publishing, forms, enquiries, SEO fields, version history and a domain, sitting under work you designed yourself.

The import path
A hand-authored layout goes in as a design, not as an overwrite.
Author the layout the way you would anyway. It is imported into a design slot on the site, alongside whatever else is there, reading the same content. Nothing already on the site is replaced, and switching which design is live is a click. The whole thing can be driven through the MCP connector from Claude or ChatGPT, so the import can be part of your own build step rather than a thing someone does by hand.
Up to ten designs can live on one site, and the live one can be switched at any time.

What stays yours
The design is yours. The content is the site's.
Your layout brings its own typography, colour, spacing and motion. The words, the pages and the images come from the site's content, so a change to a price or an opening time does not turn into a second version of your file.

One content source
Every design on the site reads the same content, so they do not drift apart while the client edits.
Version history either way
An edit to your imported design is recorded and can be undone, the same as any other change on the site.

The unbillable part of a studio's website work is rarely the design. It is everything that has to exist around it before the client can use the site.

What studios ask.
What form does an imported design take?
A layout you authored, imported into a design slot on the site. It is a new slot rather than an overwrite, so anything already on the site stays where it is and you can switch between them.
Can we drive it from our own tooling?
The MCP connector lets an assistant like Claude or ChatGPT create a site, generate and compare designs, refine and publish. Direct API access is part of the $99 a month Agency add-on.
Do the generated designs get in the way?
No. A site can hold up to ten designs and only one is live. Ignore the ones you did not author, or keep them around as a comparison for the client.
If the client edits the copy, does our design go stale?
No. The content lives on the site, not inside the design, and every design on the site reads the same content. An edit to a price shows up wherever that price appears.
Does our name go on the client-facing screens?
The published site carries no Mondovo branding at all. Putting your studio's name on the review link and the screens the client sees is part of the $99 a month Agency add-on, which also covers API access and the outreach tools.
What does it cost while we are trying it?
Nothing. Drafts are free — five on the free plan, fifty on Pro — and the charge starts at publish, at $20 a month per live site.
