For estate agents and property
A property is only yours to sell for about six weeks. The website has to keep up.
Listings arrive, change price, go under offer and disappear. On most property sites each of those is a job for somebody else. Here it is a row you edit, and every page that shows the property changes with it.

How listings are held
A property is a row, not a page somebody has to build.
Address, price, bedrooms, description, photographs, status. Add a row and the property appears on the listings page, in the search results on your own site, and in the highlights on the front page. Remove it and it goes from all of them at once.
Star the ones you want seen
Mark a property as featured and it moves to the front of the list. That is how the properties on your home page are chosen — by you, not by whichever one was added last.
Sales and lettings, kept apart
Separate lists with their own pages, so a two-bedroom rental does not appear in the middle of the houses for sale.
Photographs where they belong
Each property carries its own set of images, uploaded once and used on every page the property appears on.
A week on one property
None of this needs a developer, and none of it needs a rebuild.
- Monday
New instruction
Add the row, drop in the photographs, write the description or have a first draft written for you and then fix it.
- Thursday
Price reduced
Change one number. The listings page, the search results and the front page all show the new figure straight away.
- Sunday
Under offer
Change the status. If you would rather it came off the site entirely, remove the row and it is gone from every page that showed it.
Get one of those wrong at half past five on a Friday and the previous version of the site is still there to restore.
Enquiries
The message says which house.
A general contact form on a property site is close to useless. An enquiry needs to arrive attached to the thing the person was looking at.
It arrives twice
Emailed to you, and kept in the site's own inbox, so nobody is forwarding messages between colleagues and losing them.
The enquirer becomes a contact
Anyone who leaves an email address gets a record with a timeline, so the second viewing request is not a stranger.
A busy week costs the same
Forms and enquiries are not metered. Neither are pages or visitors.
Being straight with you
Nothing feeds in.
There is no portal feed, no listings feed and no connection to whatever software your negotiators work in. Properties are added and edited by you, in the site. If you already have a site with listings on it, they can be brought across when you start — after that, the site is the copy you keep right.
If you are a firm whose listings are pushed out of a back-office system into every channel automatically, be honest with yourself about that before you move. That is a real requirement and this does not meet it.
What it costs
Per site, per month. Not per property.
Three people are included on the paid plan, and each one after that is $10 a month. The domain stays registered to the firm at its own registrar.
Questions
Asked before anybody moves a website.
Will it push our listings to the portals?
No. Nothing syncs out and nothing syncs in. Your portal listings stay a separate job, exactly as they are now.
How many properties can we have on it?
There is no counted limit and no charge per property or per page. The price is per live site.
We have a site with a hundred listings already.
Give it the address and the pages and content come across, and you review what it found before any design is generated. Expect to check the listings that came over — they are yours from that point, not a live feed.
Can the office update listings, not just me?
Yes. Three people are included on the paid plan and each extra is $10 a month. Every change is recorded and any version can be restored.
Will it be quick on a phone?
The pages are prepared in advance and served from a network of locations, rather than assembled on request. Most people looking at houses are doing it on a phone in bed.
What if the look is wrong?
Three complete versions come from the same approved content, and you can ask for more. A site holds up to ten and you switch which is live whenever you like.
Your agency
Describe the firm and the patch it covers.
You will see what every page is going to say before a design exists, and it costs nothing to stop there.
