Social media scheduler

A social media scheduler that also writes the posts.

Plan a week or a month of posts for your business, have them written from what your website already says, add a picture or a video from Creative Studio, and schedule them to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube from one calendar. If you post for a client, send it to them to approve first.

Planning, writing and review are free. Connecting accounts and publishing need the site on Pro.

How it works

Plan it, write it, check it, schedule it.

Most of social media is deciding what to post and getting it written. The scheduler starts there, not at an empty calendar.

  1. 01

    Plan the calendar

Ask for a week, a fortnight or a month. Posts are written for your business and laid out on the calendar as drafts, next to your blog articles and email campaigns.

  2. 02

    Write and preview

Rewrite any post in a sentence. See it the way each network will show it, with its call to action and hashtags, which you can edit under the text.

  3. 03

    Add the picture

Attach an image, a carousel or a video made in Creative Studio, or upload your own.

  4. 04

    Get it approved

Approve as a team, or send your client one link. They check each post on their phone, leave a note on the picture, and say Looks good or Needs changes.

  5. 05

    Schedule it

Pick the accounts and the time, or schedule a whole week to the same accounts at once. Posts go out on their own at the time you set.

  6. 06

    Or ask in a sentence

Tell the assistant to plan next week, send three posts to your client or move Friday’s post to Saturday, and it does it on the same calendar.

Per network

Each network gets the format it expects.

One post can go to several accounts. The format options only show what each network can actually take, so nothing fails after you schedule it.

Instagram

Posts, carousels and reels to the Instagram business account linked to your Facebook Page. Animated carousels post as one carousel with moving slides.

Facebook

Posts with a picture or a video to the Facebook Pages you manage. One connection brings in your Pages and their linked Instagram accounts together.

LinkedIn

Posts to your own LinkedIn profile. Videos play in LinkedIn’s own player, and carousels arrive as swipeable documents.

YouTube

Upload a video or paste a link, get a suggested title, description and thumbnail ideas, and schedule it as a Short or a video.

Repost to another network

Copy a post to another network with its picture or video, and get copy written to fit there.

See how it did, or take it down

Published posts show views, reach, likes, comments and shares where the network provides them. Posts on Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube can be deleted from Mondovo.

What goes out on its own

Only what you scheduled.

Letting software post for a business is only reasonable if you know exactly what it does without you. Here it is.

  • Drafts stay drafts

A planned or written post is never published until you schedule it for an account you named.

  • Client approval, when you turn it on

Posts wait for your client’s answer, and it is recorded under their name against exactly the version they looked at.

  • A changed post is looked at again

Upload a new version after approval and the client’s link asks for a fresh look and shows what changed.

  • You can always ask what happened

Ask the assistant whether a post went out, and if it did not, why.

Make the video for a post

Who it is for

For agencies posting for clients, and owners posting for themselves.

Agencies

Run each client’s calendar under its own brand. Send a link so the client connects their own accounts without a Mondovo login, and another so they approve posts on their phone.

  • A calendar and brand per client site
  • Client connection links
  • Client review links, no account needed

Small businesses

Plan the month in one sitting and let the posts go out on their own. Ideas come from your website and from what your customers are asking.

  • Posts written from your website
  • Pictures and video in the same place
  • Scheduling from the assistant in a sentence

Instead of

You don’t need a separate scheduler, writer and design tool.

Questions

What people ask about scheduling posts.

Which networks can it post to?

Facebook Pages, the Instagram business account linked to a Page, your personal LinkedIn profile and YouTube channels. LinkedIn posts go to your own profile, not a company page.

Does Instagram need a Facebook Page?

Yes. Instagram connects through the Facebook Page it is linked to, so connecting Facebook once brings in both.

Do I need Pro to use it?

Only to publish. Planning, writing, previews and review work on every plan. Connecting accounts and scheduling posts to go out need the site on Pro.

Can my client approve posts first?

Yes. Turn on client approval for the brand and send your client a link. They see each post as it will look, read its caption, leave notes on the picture, and answer Looks good or Needs changes, without an account. Nothing posts until you schedule it.

Can my client connect their own accounts?

Yes. Send them a connection link. They approve access on the network’s own screen without signing up to Mondovo, and the accounts appear under their brand.

Can it post reels and carousels?

Yes. Reels and carousels go to Instagram, videos and carousels to LinkedIn, and Shorts and longer videos to YouTube.

Can I schedule from Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes, through the Mondovo connector. Ask it to plan the week, send posts for review or queue them, in a sentence. A post goes out only once it is queued.
