People ask online for recommendations every day. This search finds public posts asking for what your business offers, so you can reply.
Steps
- On your site's Home, click Find people asking for what you offer, or open Marketing → Ads & outreach → Requests & pitches.
- Click Find them for me. Check what we will search for under Is this right? and change it if needed.
- Review the requests. Each one links to the post, explains why it fits, shows any email the person shared, and can draft a reply for you.
- Reply on the original site, in your own words or with the draft.
Where we look
Public posts on Reddit, Threads and LinkedIn, plus any local Facebook groups you add under Manage sources.
Good to know
- One search every 7 days is free. After you run one, we repeat it weekly for the next four weeks and tell you when new requests appear.
- Turn the weekly search on or off under Manage sources.
- Reply helpfully and honestly. Communities remove accounts that only advertise.
