Connect your own domain

Point a domain you own at your Mondovo site. Add the records we show you, verify, and the padlock is set up automatically.

With Pro, any live site can use your own domain, such as yourbusiness.com. You keep your domain where it is registered and add a few records there.

Steps

  1. In your site's workspace, open Site settings → Domain.
  2. Enter your domain and click Connect.
  3. Add the TXT records (Verification) shown on screen at your domain provider.
  4. Pick your provider (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, Google Domains or another) and add the DNS records (Routing) shown, usually for www. Each provider gets its own steps.
  5. Click Verify Domain. We also check automatically while the page is open.
  6. Choose your primary address. We recommend the www version.

Good to know

  • The padlock (SSL) is set up for you, usually 2 to 5 minutes after verification.
  • DNS changes can take from a few minutes to a few hours to spread.
  • If someone else manages your domain, use the setup link to send them every record, step by step. They do not need to log in.
  • If your domain's DNS is on Cloudflare, you can paste an API token and we add the records for you.
