Publish your site

Put your site online at a free Mondovo address with one click. Later edits stay in draft until you publish again.

Nothing you build is visible to the public until you publish.

Steps

  1. Click Publish in the top bar of your site (the rocket icon in the editor).
  2. Check the Publish window. It shows your address and anything that still needs attention, such as an unfinished domain.
  3. Confirm. When the window says your site is live, it is online. Click View live to open it.

Your free address

Every site gets a free address such as your-business.mondovo.co. To change it, open Site settings → Settings, find Preview address and click the pencil icon. To use your own domain, see Connect your own domain.

After your first publish

  • Design and page edits stay in draft until you click Publish again. Use Preview draft (the eye icon) to check them first.
  • Blog posts, products and other collection items go live on their own within a few minutes.
  • Republishing only rebuilds the pages that changed, so it is quick.

Good to know

  • The Free plan includes one live site on a free address. Pro includes one live site with your own domain, and each further live site is added at publish. See Plans and pricing.
  • Workspaces with the Agency add-on get neutral addresses without Mondovo in them.
  • If you are looking at a design that is not your site's chosen design, Mondovo asks you to confirm before publishing it.
  • You can ask the assistant: "Publish my site."
