Edit your header and footer menus

Add, rename, reorder or remove menu links, set the main header button, and add self-updating link lists.

Your header menu, footer links and header button are shared by every page on your site.

Steps

  1. In your site's workspace, open Site settings → Navigation.
  2. Drag items between Main Navigation, Footer Only and CTA Button (the main button in your header).
  3. Drag to reorder, or click an item to rename it.
  4. Not sure what belongs in the menu? Click Suggest navigation.
  5. Save, then click Publish.

Link lists for area and service pages

A link list collects links to a group of pages automatically, such as "Areas we serve" in the footer. It helps search engines find every page. Ask the chat, for example "Add an Areas We Serve list of all my area pages to the footer". Build it from your pages or pick the links, and show it as footer columns, a card grid, a link list, a sidebar menu or a tag cloud. A list built from your pages picks up new pages on its own.

Good to know

  • To change how the header and footer look, open Website → Header & footer, or ask the chat: "Make the header sticky."
  • Collections such as a blog or products get their own listing page. Add it to the menu here if it is not there yet.
  • Need many area or service pages? Use Bulk Create Pages. See Add a new page.
