Set up shipping and delivery

Choose where you deliver and what it costs, with flat, weight-based, price-based or free-over rates.

Shipping zones say where you deliver. Each zone has the rates buyers choose from at checkout.

Steps

  1. Open Site settings → Shipping & returns.
  2. Add a zone with a name and the countries or regions it covers.
  3. Add a rate to the zone:
    • Flat: one price, optionally only for orders in a price range.
    • By weight or by order value: prices in bands.
    • Free over: a price below an amount, free from that amount up.
  4. Add more zones if you deliver to other places at other prices.
  5. Save and publish.

Good to know

  • Buyers outside every zone get no delivery option, so they cannot check out. Add a zone for everywhere you deliver.
  • Checkout never quietly charges nothing for delivery. If delivery is not set up, the setup checklist tells you.
  • You can ask the assistant: "Charge $15 delivery in Uganda, free over $300."
  • Return requests appear in Store → Orders → Returns.
