To charge customers for orders, bookings, courses or packs, connect a payment provider. Payments go straight to your account with that provider.
Steps
- Open Site settings → Payments.
- Choose Stripe, Razorpay or PayPal and connect your account.
- Enter your Business Name. It is shown on the checkout page.
- Try a test order first. See Test your store before launch.
- Publish your site.
Cash on delivery
In the same place, turn on Cash on delivery so buyers pay when their order arrives. It works without a card provider, so it is the quickest way to start taking orders. You can allow it only for orders between a minimum and a maximum amount. Buyers get a Cash on Delivery Confirmation email.
Selling tools
In Payments → Selling tools, switch on the cart and checkout, payment buttons, wishlists, product comparison and quote requests. With quote requests on, buyers can ask for a quote from the cart, and requests arrive in your inbox.
Good to know
- Paid orders get a receipt and a PDF invoice automatically.
- Your provider charges its own fees.
- To refund, see Refund or cancel an order.
