What your site tracks, and Google Ads conversions

Page views, leads, shopping steps and purchases are tracked for you. Add conversion labels so Google Ads counts them.

Once your site is published, these are tracked for you, with no events, goals or code to set up.

What is tracked

  • Page views, and item views on collection pages such as a room, property or product.
  • Leads: every real enquiry or booking request.
  • Shopping: product viewed, added to cart, checkout started, and purchases with their value, including cash on delivery.
  • Where each visitor came from, remembered for 90 days.

It shows in Results → Analytics, on each contact's Attribution tab, and in every analytics or ad tag you add, under each platform's standard event names (for Meta: ViewContent, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout, Purchase and Lead).

Count Google Ads conversions

  1. In Google Ads, go to Goals → Conversions and create a conversion action for leads and one for purchases.
  2. Copy each label: the part after the slash in AW-123456789/AbC-D_efG.
  3. In Mondovo, open Site settings → Tracking, click Conversion labels on your Google Ads tag, paste them and save.
  4. Publish your site.

Purchases count with their value and order number, so a page refresh is not counted twice. If your Google Analytics 4 property is linked to Google Ads, you can import its events instead. Use one method, not both.

Good to know

  • Using your own Tag Manager? Trigger tags on mondovo.lead, mondovo.purchase, mondovo.view_item, mondovo.add_to_cart and mondovo.begin_checkout, not your own form triggers.
  • LinkedIn and X conversions are set up inside those ad accounts.
